I’ve already captured 2,916 words so far! It’s a pretty silly chic-lit story, but that’s OK. I just need my writing groove back. So I give you the first line:

“A lot can happen in the time it takes to shave your legs.”

It’s going to be a Sense and Sensibility adaptation, in a sense, but a very loose adaptation. Two best friends/roommates accidentally date the same guy. They find out, and insecurities from the past tear them apart.

It should be relatively funny, I hope. The basic premise is that the girls are big on double dating and have numerous double dating rules that are pretty silly, Wedding Crasher-esque style.

I’ll start posting a line or two each day. I hope you’ll have fun reading.
