So before I went to the office today I walked to the local coffee shop down the street. A man sitting on a random bench shouted out, “Hey do you work at the paper?”
Me–“Uh…yeah.”
Him–“Yeah, I thought so. I was sitting here thinking, ‘Hey, that looks like the girl who’s interning at the paper this summer.’ I saw your picture in the paper yesterday. You’re getting famous already!”
Me–“I’m trying?”
Okay…so when interns join the paper, the first assignment is to write a bio about how they’re on staff. When I went to cover Career Day at a local elementary school today (awww), Mr. Carpet (yes you read that correctly…He calls himself that…) said that he liked my job description.
What?
