To add on to comments about the daily coffee excursions this week…
Yesterday I ordered a coffee and the nice British lady who worked there asked if I was going to stay. When I said I would, she poured it from the to-go cup into a nice mug and placed it onto a saucer. I sat down at a table and read my current novel (Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi) while I sipped the coffee.
What a downtown feel! People came in before work or school and ordered coffee and breakfast items. I repeated the fun today…it’s such a great way to start off the day.
While I’m being dropped off so early for work this week, I’ll probably continue it tomorrow and Friday 🙂
Because the show October Road is filmed here, I was acting like I was a part of the set (in my mind). Yay for coffee!
By the way…the house blend is good.
